Meet Alex Grigorita, the mastermind, and the driving force behind Bryant & Stratton College's women’s soccer success story! As an assistant coach for both men's and women's soccer, he set his sights on greatness from day one. In 2013, he stepped into the spotlight as Head Women's Soccer Coach, sparking a remarkable transformation for the Women's Program.

In just a few years, he took the team from a non-ranking Junior College to a top national program in the USCAA. Alex's leadership paved the way to impressive achievements, with the Lady Bobcats securing a spot as NJCAA Region 3 Runner Up in his debut year. And that was just the beginning!

Under his guidance and inspiring leadership, the Lady Bobcats soared to new heights, the team claimed the title of USCAA National Semi-finalist in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons, finishing third in the country. With a winning formula, he fostered the growth of 7 All-American Players and consistently built larger national and international recruiting classes.

Alex's prowess extends beyond the field, with his remarkable talent for building larger-than-life national and international recruiting classes. With seven All-American Players under his wing, he consistently surpasses his own record year after year, clinching over 20 victories in the memorable 2015 and 2016 campaigns.

In 2019, the Lady Bobcats achieved an incredible feat, clinching the top spot in the USCAA women's coaches’ poll and securing the #1 seed for the USCAA Division 1 Women's National Championship – an unprecedented milestone for the program. Though they narrowly missed the title, Coach Grigorita’ s resilience and indomitable spirit drove them to a sensational comeback in 2021. Overcoming obstacles, including a slow start and several injuries, like a true champion, the team emerged triumphant, and made history by clinching the first-ever USCAA Women's Soccer Division 1 National Championship title in the program's history. Together, they etched their names into the legends of Bryant & Stratton College's storied history.

Beyond college coaching, Alex boasts extensive experience in guiding club soccer in Central New York. Alex's influence helped nurtured players who secured spots in NCAA Division I and Division II teams.

Hailing from Chisinau, Moldova, his soccer journey began at the tender age of seven, driven by a passion that led him to coach numerous youth teams and even earn a coaching position with the Moldova National Youth Soccer Academy. Three of his players graduated to the Moldova U-15 National Team.

Alex's legacy as a player at Bryant & Stratton College is equally impressive. As a Central Defender and team captain from 2010 to 2012, he clinched amazing accolades, including 2011 Second Team NJCAA All-American, 2011 First Team All-Region, 2011 First Team All-Conference honors, NJCAA Academic All-American, and the 2011 MVP title.

With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Physical Education and Sports, alongside a USSF Coaching License, Alex's expertise knows no limits. His unwavering commitment to every player he coaches fuels their spirit, creating a culture of excellence within the Lady Bobcats program.

Now serving as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Alex continues to drive success for Bryant & Stratton College, leaving an indelible mark on and off the field and in the hearts of aspiring athletes. As the heartbeat of the soccer journey, his passion for the beautiful game knows no bounds, inspiring greatness in every stride and fostering a legacy that will forever resonate in the world of collegiate soccer.
