Syracuse, NY-
The Bryant & Stratton College- Syracuse Women's Basketball team lost on Wednesday evening to Bryant & Stratton College- Albany, 90-76. The loss drops the Bobcats' record to 2-15 on the season.
How it Happened:
The Bobcats were on the road on Wednesday evening for what are typically difficult matchups with sister college Bryant & Stratton College- Albany. The two teams had not played each other up to this point in the season, but with the game on Wednesday night and the upcoming rematch on Saturday afternoon, these two teams will get to know each other very well in the next few days.
On Wednesday night, the Lady Bobcats played some really great basketball early and were able to get out to a halftime lead over Bryant & Stratton College- Albany, 38-33. Leading the way for the Lady Bobcats was Magnama Traore off the bench with a career-high 22 points and 13 rebounds. Despite the career night from Traore, Bryant & Stratton College- Albany benefitted from a second half offensive explosion that propelled them past the Lady Bobcats. Bryant & Stratton College- Albany scored 57 points in the second half and outscored the Lady Bobcats 28-13 in the 4th quarter to win the game. The final score on the evening was 90-76.
