Bobcats Soccer Remains Undefeated after 2-0 Weekend
Syracuse, NY – There has been a pattern of symmetry in the early going for Bryant & Stratton College soccer. The Bobcats picked up wins over Berkeley College and Albany College of Pharmacy, both by a 4-0 score. The second and third 4-0 victories for the Bobcats this season.
Bryant & Stratton wasted no time carving a lead against Berkeley, scoring three times in the opening half as they cruised to their second win of the year. Uros Momic drove the play for BSC, scoring twice, both in the first half, to help stake the Bobcats to a 3-0 halftime lead.
Romaine Williamson assisted on Momic’s second tally of the game and added a goal of his own, assisted by Momic no less, to push the margin to 4-0 in the 60th minute.
The Bobcats outshot the Knights 10-4 and Julien Guesnet dealt with three shots on goal to preserve his second clean sheet of the season.
Guesnet made it three-straight clean sheets with another shutout of ACPHS on Sunday, though his workload was far lighter in a match the Bobcats dominated. ACPHS fired only one shot and didn’t earn a corner kick while the Bobcats fired 23 shots throughout the match.
Romaine Williamson was the offensive star on the afternoon, registering a hat trick for the Bobcats. He picked up two of his three goals in the first half, wrapping up the hat trick in the 52nd minute and marking his third-straight game with a goal. Uros Momic scored for the second-straight game, rounding out the scoring for BSC on the day.
The Bobcats return home on Saturday, September 22 to host Bunker Hill Community College at 1:00.
