Bobcats Pounce on Albany College of Pharmacy 7-0
Sep 11, 2017

The Bryant & Stratton College men?s soccer team kicked off the 2017 season with an impressive victory over the Albany College of Pharmacy Panthers 7-0, yesterday.

The Bobcats struck early as constant pressure allowed Ousmane Kamara to score on a strike from distance in the opening 25 minutes of the game. Kamara's goal would be the lone tally for the Bobcats in the first half, despite outshooting their opponents 15-1.

BSC's fortunes would change in the second half as they broke through for six goals from six different players to seal up the blowout win. Mathieu LeRoux and Milak Jakovljevic were key in driving the second half effort for the Bobcats.

?The first game of the season is always difficult until the players build chemistry and learn to play our demanding system,? Coach Nick Dimitrievski said.

Bryant & Stratton College will be hitting the road for contests against Bunker Hill Community College and Massaoit Community College before returning home again. The Bobcats next home game comes on September 26 when they host Cayuga Community College.
