The Bryant & Stratton College- Syracuse Men's Basketball team earned their 10th victory of the season on Tuesday night defeating SUNY ESF, 82-65.  The victory for the Bobcats improves thier overall record to 10-5 on the season.

How it Happened:

Returning back to their home court, the Bryant & Stratton College- Syracuse Men's Basketball team used the energy in the building to start fast against the visiting Mighty Oaks of SUNY ESF.  Leading the way for the Bobcats was Sophomore guard, Moses Hughes, whose defensive energy and intensity caused problems for the Mighty Oaks all night long.  Hughes forced several turnovers as the frontline of the Bobcats' defensive press and was the beneficiary of easy baskets as a result.  He would lead the team in scoring with a game-high 26 points.

At the half, the Bobcats were able to open up a 14-point lead, 44-30.  Throughout the second half of the game, the Bobcats were able to grow the lead all the way up to 20-points and the end result was never really in question.  Key performances from Jameel Abdallah (14 points), Anton Berga (12 points), and Josue Oreste (10 points) rounded out the Bobcats scoring attack behind Hughes.  The final score on the night was 82-65 Bryant & Stratton College- Syracuse.

"I thought that this was one of our best start to finish performances," said Head Coach Clay Gagen-Sherman.  "We did a great job asserting ourselves early in the game tonight and an even better job not slowing down in the second half.  Our group needs to keep growing together and get better every day as we move on into a difficult portion of our season."

The Bobcats will be back on the road this Friday, January 27th at 7:30 pm for a matchup with Jamestown Community College.
