Bobcats Name Trae Richards as new Cross Country and Track and Field Head Coach
Syracuse, NY – Bryant & Stratton College today announced that Trae Richards has been named the head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams.
A Syracuse native, Richards joins the Bobcats athletics department after a stint at Amherst High School, where he served as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach. He helped Amherst High School reach the Section VI playoffs and continue their tradition of excellence both on and off the field.
A graduate from Nottingham High School (2010), Richards would go on to compete at Finger Lakes Community College. After graduation, Richards continued at Canisius College, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a minor in Sports Psychology.
"Trae is a leader who comes to Bryant & Stratton with experiences and background that will enhance both Bobcat cross country & track and field programs," said Bryant & Stratton College athletic director Nick Dimitrievski.
