Finishing Strong
In the last weekend of the regular season the Bobcats traveled to Fisher College to try and put a bow on their successful regular season. Right from the start it was a close match between the Bobcats and Falcons until Lyla Lionel started the scoring off in the 35th minute with the assist from Alijah Titre. That goal was followed closely by a goal from Victoria Herrera in the 40th minute who also was assisted by Alijah Titre. Coach Alex was of course encouraged by the half time lead but implored the women to keep their foot on the gas and not let the Falcons back into the game. So, the Bobcats did just that! Once again in the 50th minute Lyla Lionel found the back of the net as well as Alijah Titre in the 65th minute (Both assisted by Marie Seeger). Finally the goal scoring was capped off by Zinnia Reese assisted by Lyla Lionel in the 80th minute of play. Coach Alex "It feels good to finish the season with a win especially on the road. We have made great strides during the regular season this year and we will put it al together at nationals in a few weeks".
