Bobcats Grab Top 25 Spots at Hamilton College Invitational
Oct 10, 2016

A pair of top-25 finishes helped the Bobcats cross country team finish the 2016 regular season on a high note at the Hamilton College Invitational.

With the USCAA National meet coming next week, captain Brandon Moore and Ashton Miller finished 20th and 21st, respectively at the Hamilton meet. The pair of top-25 finishes bodes well for the pair as the national championship meet looms next week.

Other Bobcats who ran well were Raekwon Darby (34th), Sevon Caldwell, Eric Romney and Nick Johnson. Both Caldwell and Johnson fought through lingering injuries to participate and finish in a scoring position for Bryant & Stratton College, showing not only their determination but devotion to the team's overall results, leaving head coach Ryan Johnson to heap praise on the pair for their toughness.

As the season begins to draw to a close, the Bobcats will place their focus on the USCAA National meet along with post season awards. Due to their diligence in the classroom, over half the current roster will be honored as USCAA Academic All Americans.
