Coming off a rough 8-0 loss to ASA College, the Bryant & Stratton College women's soccer team got back to their winning ways against Kings College, SUNY Delhi and Villa Maria College.

The Bobcats carried play throughout their 5-0 win over Kings College, building a 2-0 at the half that was reinforced with a trio of markers in the second.

Njemile Charles opened the scoring for the Bobcats, converting an assist from Kai Jacobs. Then, Portia Davis tacked on a second tally just prior to halftime. Jacobs would get a goal of her own in the 84th minute while Jeanille Lawrence and Shakera Joseph added the third and fourth insurance markers, respectively.

The offensive onslaught continued against SUNY Delhi as the Bobcats rolled up five goals in the first half alone, topping the Broncos 7-2. Shareka Joseph and Portia Davis each potted a brace in the first half while Kai Jacobs scored two goals of her own between the first and second half of the contest. Andrea Giron scored the other goal for the Bobcats while Megan Hagadorn and Lissette Infante split time in goal; Hagadorn making five saves and Infante stopping two.

The Bobcats completed a men?s and women?s sweep of Villa Maria College, running up a 9-0 victory on Saturday. Eight first half goals powered BSC to the win which also helped push them two spots higher in the latest USCAA poll where they now sit sixth.

Krystal Taylor's first half hat trick was the highlight of the day and six other Bobcats factored in the rout.

The women's soccer team are back in action on Saturday against Albany College of Pharmacy, a key battle between two top-10 ranked teams.
