Bryant & Stratton College - Syracuse
Weekend Sweep Highlighted by Triumph over #3 Ranked Bunker Hill
Sep 25, 2017

The Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team picked up a pair of statement wins over the weekend, beating Massasoit Community College and #3 ranked Bunker Hill Community College on the road.

Friday's contest against Bunker Hill was expected to be a tight affair between two of the USCAA's best teams. Instead, the Bobcats ran away with the contest, outshooting their opponent 15-1 on their way to a dominant 3-0 win.

Uros Momic picked up a pair of goals against Bunker Hill while Connor McGoldrick added a tally of his own in the 3-0 win.

The complexion of Saturday's match against Massasoit Community College was much different than Friday's. The Bobcats had to deal with a straight red to Millon Prescott and two yellows to Mohamed Bassam-Abdallah. Despite the challenges with discipline, Bryant & Stratton College persevered on their way to a 2-1 comeback victory.

Massasoit struck first off a header on a corner kick in the fifth minute. Mattieu LaRoux drew the Bobcats level just 15 minutes later and the game would head to half tied at one. LaRoux would play hero in the second half, scoring the winning goal in the 70th minute to push Bryant & Stratton College to 3-0 on the season.

The Bobcats return home to face Cayuga Community College tomorrow at 4:00 and follow that match with a roadtrip to Davis College on Wednesday.
