Oct 9, 2017

The Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team continues to strengthen their national resume after toppling Monroe Community College and #7 ranked Berkeley College over the weekend.

The fourth-ranked Bobcats picked apart MCC with consistent scoring almost from the first whistle. Bogdan Milavanovich tallied in the opening 10 minutes, sending a 30-yard screamer home off a BSC corner. Not wanted to be left out of the fun, Dragon Cvetovic scored on an impressive volley of his own to make the score 2-0.

Zino Zampach and Delano Hodge added goals in the second half to push the score to 4-0 while the Bobcats held MCC to only three shots on the afternoon.

Friday's contest against seventh-ranked Berkeley offed the opportunity for BSC to establish their national credentials as they work to climb the USCAA rankings. They left no doubt, dismantling Berkeley 7-0.

Ojai Bedward scored early in the game, with a cheeky move that froze the fans. Alex Pompo?s blast minutes later guided the Bobcats to a 2-0 halftime lead.

?We made some technical changes at halftime that allowed us to capitalize on their weaknesses and overpower them in the second half," head coach Nick Dimitrievski said.

BSC's halftime adjustments paid off as five different players tallied to complete the rout.

Next up is a massive showdown with #1 ranked University of Maine-Fort Kent on October 15.
