Oct 29, 2018

In their inaugural season, the Bryant & Stratton College- Syracuse Men's Basketball team hit the road this past weekend to participate in the Adirondack tip-off tournament at Paul Smiths College.

Saturday night marked the first game in the school's history and the Bobcats did not disappoint. With a 32-32 tie at half time, the Bobcats jumped out ahead of the N.Y.I.A. Eagles and never looked back. Junior Forward Xavier Norgbey lead the way with 17 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds of a high-powered offense with three other players getting double digit points as well. The Bobcats sealed their first victory with a score of 68-65.

Sunday, the Bobcats challenged the host, Paul Smiths College. It was a tight game throughout and despite another strong performance from Xavier Norgbey (35 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists), the Bobcats came up just short in a high scoring 93-88 loss.

Next up, the Bobcats (1-1) travel to Buffalo for another weekend of games, against Bryant & Stratton College-Buffalo and Fisher College. Friday night's game against BSC-Buffalo is set for a 7 pm tip.
